Kernel paging request error with /proc/partitions under 2.1.117

Hi,
Under 2.1.117 with devfs-v54, I get the following error when trying to
display /proc/partitions.
In 2.1.116, displaying /proc/partitions emitted a message similar to this but
hard locked the system.
