Davem? Can you fill me in on why that was done in the first place?
It is faster in fact, do lat_tcp over localhost and over the wire, we
allocate packets faster with the SLAB'ified version, and bandwidth
even increased (both over the wire and localhost) as well as a result
of those changes.
