I goofed on my guesstimates.

ide0 is 9".
ide1 is 18".

hda is UDMA
hdb is EIDE
hdc is EIDE
hdd is ATAPI/EIDE (CD-ROM)

It's the drive's logic board, I suspect. As soon as I have another few
cups of coffee, I'm gonna call up Maxtor, and begin the reaming.
