I think Bill Hawes was the last person to touch the LDT code, which may or
may not be to blame (I assume it is however).
I would forget about running wine in the 2.1.x kernels for now, at least
until this console mess is sorted.
Right now, the console stuff is sufficiently hosed to make running above 106
a pain... (107 is also broken somehow, I forget).
