ghm... Can we track that one down? Yes, I know that 2.8.x/egcs sometimes
generate wrong code, but we might want to help gcc/egcs team to discover
bugs, so that new generation of compilers will be usefull :)
Also it's our only hope for gcc for 21264. Alan, did you see that beast
on Linux Expo? Somebody told me it was presented there. I could only
find some docs on DEC site, but it seems that creature is GOOD. It seems
it got 80 int regs and 72 fp regs. That sure can be used nice...
Also, question: If we have that many registers, is there some way to
"remap" them, so that 3-4 low-reg-using progs will be able to work
almost in parrallel? But probably sucerity will suffer :(
