[2.1.106] Floppy disk freezes system

Hi folks,

I am running a 2.1.106-ac1-ac2-ac3 kernel. While I was copying
the content of a 1.44M floppy disk to the HDD, a CRC error
on the floppy occured and the system hung in an endless loop
on always the same broken sector of the floppy disk.

Albeit the floppy was mounted as an ext2 filesystem, I ejected
it to make an end to the I/O errors. After I had done this,
the system froze immediately, and I had to push the reset
button.

My opinion is, that CRC errors should lead to a timeout,
and a removal of a mounted floppy disk should lead to
an automatic unmount of the device.

Regards,
Gerry
