NFS related bug in 2.0.34

Lately I observed a weird behaviour on my disk-less nfs-root Linux boxen.

When performing a shutdown ( via ctrl-alt-del or halt command ) the nfsiod
processes go into Z state ( courtesy of Control-Scroll_Lock )

The shutdown script stops somewhere at the beginning ( not always the same )

client :
Linux 2.0.34
sysvinit 2.74

server is Linux 2.0.34 , nfsd 2.2beta34
