floppy drive and P6DBE

Hi,

I just installed RH 5.1 (2.0.34) and find that I can not mount the floppy
drive. The process just hangs (uninter. sleep).

I'm using a Supermicro P6DBE with dual PII-350 (although it does not
work in UP mode either) 128MB RAM, 4 GB UHDD, tulip , trident video

The system will boot off a floppy, but once the kernel is running
it will not mount a floppy. (mounts the cdrom OK)

I also have RH 5.0 on several P6DLE with no problems.

Anybody have any ideas or pointers ?

Thanks!

Doug
