It might take time away from coding new _kernel_ stuff, but
it might _save_ a lot more time on the library and program
side. It's all about tradeoffs, and I think this is a rather
good tradeoff.

The kernel already moves too fast for Linus to get under
good control, slowing it down a little might help us too
with creating stable releases somewhat more often...
