2.0.34 floppy problem

When using 2.0.33 I complied the floppy and msdos drivers as modules. All
was fine and dandy; kerneld would load them as needed.

I then installed 2.0.34 and compiled the floppy and msdos/fat drives as
modules. When I try and mount a floppy is says /dev/fd0 is not a valid
block device. So I use insmod to manually load the floppy driver (and also
did the msdos and fat), and I get the same error.

Changing back to 2.0.33 corrects the situation. What's the problem?
