Yes, it is. By the way I am using Debian-1.3.

pc1 1% ls -l /etc/rc2.d
............
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 Mar 19 1997 S18netbase -> ../init.d/netbase
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Mar 29 1997 S19nis -> ../init.d/nis
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Mar 19 1997 S20apache -> ../init.d/apache
............
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 Apr 10 1997 S20xntp3 -> ../init.d/xntp3
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 Mar 19 1997 S25netstd_nfs -> ../init.d/netstd_nfs
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 Mar 19 1997 S30netstd_misc -> ../init.d/netstd_misc
............

But why it is working with 2.0.34 but not 2.1.105 ?
