3c509 hangs with 2.1.105 + ac1,2,3

Hello,

Under heavy network traffic, my 3c509 hangs 1 or 2 seconds and
then restarts:

eth0: transmit timed out, Tx_status e0 status 2004 Tx FIFO room 176.
eth0: transmit timed out, Tx_status e0 status 2004 Tx FIFO room 140.
eth0: transmit timed out, Tx_status e0 status 2004 Tx FIFO room 72.
eth0: transmit timed out, Tx_status a0 status 2004 Tx FIFO room 60.

Config : SMP (2xPPro), 3c509 (eth0: 3c509 at 0x300 tag 1, 10baseT port,
address 00 a0 24 9b 98 2c, IRQ 11.)
