(Very brief summary):
Symptom: Boot sequence hangs in infinite scsi reset loop.

I upgraded the aic7xxx driver from 5.0.14 (in linux-2.0.34)
to aic7xxx-5.0.18.

Bug seems to be fixed.

(Before anyone asks:
info on ftp sites in linux/drivers/scsi/README.aic7xxx.)
