I experience keyboard timeouts when enabling CONFIG_VIDEO_SELECT and
setting vga=ASK. Timeout in this case means no response from
keyboard at all until reboot. Setting modes directly works perfectly.

Kernel 2.1.105.

Bus 0, device 4, function 0:
VGA compatible controller: Avance Logic 2301 (rev 0).
Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. IRQ a.
