Ufff... My fault. I haven't checked it in OPTi930 doc. It tells: bit 2
SILENCE: 0-Audio 1-clear. Your patch should work for everyone.

I wonder about disabling 3D sound. I've found that most of cards have 3D
chip (noisy one ;() connected to GPIO1 controlled by MCIR20. So, maybe it
would be good idea to have (config?) option that turns it off?
