I tried to update to the 2.1.102 version kernel, but menuconfig won't run
anymore:
the parsing process which used to take +-15seconds takes 5 minutes now
AND
while trying to enter the sound configuration menu, I get kicked out of
menuconfig (politely asking to notify you ;-)
I did some checks, and found that the patch file patch-2.1.102.gz doesn't
contain the drivers/sound/lowlevel/Config.in file ...
When I comment out the line which loads that particular file; all goes wel.
(at the end of drivers/sound/Config.in)
I checked patch-2.1.103 and the problem wasn't solved ...
Hopefully you became a little wiser from my mail, and are able to patch the
problem away ;-)
