pnp for kernel patch

I am another newbie
can you tell me what code to write for the following
pnp4kernel patch asks me

put some code in
/usr/src/linux/drivers/Makefile
so that while compiling it includes

/pnp/pnp.o

does any1 know the proper code
I would me much grateful for any help I can get
