Hi

I have a problem with my new Deskpro 6400 (400 Mhz cpu,100 Mhz bus). It
boots and runs
fine with 2.0.32 (I actually installed from the RH 5.0 distribution CD w/o
any major problems),
The "minor" problems was with the AHA2910B scsí card. The driver looped with
timeout and
bus resets during the device scanning phase. I had to remove the card in
order to install linux.

In order to use the AHA2910B card, I decided to try a newer kernel, so I
built a 2.1.101 kernel
on my other system (clone 90Mhz) with all needed features in the kernel (no
modules). I moved
this kernel to the new system using a diskette and installed in with lilo on
the PII. It boots fine, and
there are no error messages, BUT the keyboard gets disabled. Just after the
HD detection, the
kernel says "Keyboard timeout" twice, and then continues to boot. Next and
last error message
is from GPM wich says "No such device" (it means the PS/2 port I assume).

Any clues or tips ? I have tried .102 and .103 as well, but no earlier dev
kernels.

Regards
Anders
