I also saw this behaviour... kernel 2.1.103 crashed (I believe)
egcs 0502 also. This has to be, at the VERY least, a compiler bug, right?
Compilers aren't SUPPOSED to crash!! This makes me a bit nervous about
egcs... I've switched back to gcc 2.7.2.3 and there is no noticeable speed
difference so far (haven't really done much that would show it, though)
