2.1.89-2.102 SCSI problems (lock up)

I'm experiencing severe SCSI problems on K6 system.

- Machine is K6 with AHA2940UW (ultra wide:-) and HP DAT 24Gig (at this
time only EIDE hard disk, no UW:-(

- glibc-2.0.7pre3 (we all must test the 'new' thing!)

- I've compiled aic7xxx, scsi and st as modules only because I use it
only for backup, now.... (see above)

The newer kernels (I've tried all since 2.1.xxx:-) will lock up (hard)
during module loading the >>SECOND<< time. First time everything goes
smooth and I can do everything right. Then after 'rmmod -a' has removed
all three scsi modules I can't access any longer '/proc/ioports',
'/proc/interrupts' -> sigfault and trace logs for 'cat', the 'lsdev' and
'procinfo' command would fail, too (see below). Get the 'Trying to free
free IRQ5' (second 'free' typo?) message, here too.

I get the lock after aic7xxx and st was loaded again. You can see that I
have to boot (with the nice sysreq keys, thanks good / LINUX) directly
after the AIC7XXX message appears and that the tape wouldn't be
detected. Is there a way to log to a file with sysreq, would be helpful?

Some problems with kmod / scsi timeout (reset time)? --- I've checked 3,
5 and 20 seconds (20 is super:-( as delay, but nothing helped.
