Actually with my experience, I only play waves and mp3's....I have found
splay to be the best for waves, mp2's, and mp3's.....I also use mpg123
although I have found that sometimes with splay, it won't play "some"
mp3's as well as mpg123....I use both....I am using Debian 1.3 with devel
kernels of 2.1.97-101....no probs....I use an ESS1688...
