It seems I can never take real weekend off from the network
without something going into catatonic state.
Now a syslog logfile containing about years worth of log entries
filled one critical disk at archie.funet.fi which caused its
mailer to act "funny", and feeding mailer at VGER to do improper
retries. That 1.6 GB logfile has now been erased, and processing
continues without further problems within next month (I hope).
Also I hope the problems at .AU have now been solved.
