I remember figuring out that some mail readers improperly try to decode any
message that has a line of text which begins with "begin 644 " included
within the message. I believe this is the cause for most if not all of the
digest trunctions that happen. Would it be possible to insert a '>'
character in front of the "begin 644" when processing for the digest? For
all mail readers which have the incorrect behavior, this single character
seems to fix it.
TIA,
-Eric ;-)
