On account of the interleaving, accesses of sequential file blocks
tend to alternate among the different pci scsi cards so this is probably
a stringent test. The performance of the raid is at least as good as it
was with 2.1.77, possibly better (I haven't tested it on the sweet spots
of the disks just yet). Also, I haven't built the kernel with modules or
ethernet support but at least the disk subsystem seems to be healthy.
I think that 2.1.95 changes are positive in my case.
