Broken identd in 2.1.92 (before unknown, works in 2.0.33)

This may well be a bug in the kernel or in identd. I do not know
which. I was using infoseek to find "Internet Patent News Service"
(trying to find out more about a post that said that Open Market's
commerce patents may be bogus, never did find what I was after)...
anyway they apparently did some queries for identification. This I know
works under 2.0.33 (Up to date with errata RedHat 5.0 system with self
compiled kernels). But below is an example. I do not know if it was
that the ports were already closed or if the new TCP/IP code broke the
owner check mechanisms. Anyway below are the logs. Please note machine
name and my ip have been purposefully messed up.
