Nothing. The list is not dead, it is just quiet for the moment.
Be patient, the new config stuff won't be included before 2.3 anyway.

I'm still working on the first snapshot you will be able to work on, but I
have little time at the moment because I'm preparing my removal to the
silicon valley.
