I've also gotten a few of those msgs. They occured after I'd been
playing around with MegaHAL for a while, a very memory intensive
program. The only thing I could do was hit the reset button (*cough*
well... shortcircuit the two little plates with a paperclip). I suppose
this kind of thing isn't supposed to happen? Shouldn't the system refuse
to give away any more mem when it is so badly needed by the system
itself?
I run x86 Linux 2.1.88 w/ 64MB.
