I got the following compiler warnings (plus a few others that I missed).

ide-cd.c:274: warning: comparison is always 1 due to limited range of data type

mcd.h:126: warning: #warning You have not edited mcd.h
mcd.h:127: warning: #warning Perhaps irq and i/o settings are wrong.
(How about removing the #warning?)

(The following are in the coda fs)
in function `coda_create':
dir.c:231: warning: unused variable `str'
dir.c:241: warning: unused variable `str'
dir.c: In function `coda_link':
dir.c:324: warning: unused variable `str'
dir.c: In function `coda_unlink':
dir.c:411: warning: unused variable `fidstr'
namei.c:935: warning: `offset' might be used uninitialized in this function

Compiler was pgcc-2.90.23 980102 (egcs-1.0.1 release) but with standard
compiler options. I used SMP=1.
