With pre-patch-2.1.90-1:
andrea@arca:/tmp$ fromport 3000 >/dev/null &
[1] 3521
andrea@arca:/tmp$ cat /dev/zero | toport arca 3000
Sent 00063488 bytes
It stalls after 60kbyte sent, while in 2.0.33 it run fine.
It seems only a synchronization bug since running fromport and toport
through strace fix the sync and the two programs return to run as (or
better than ;-) 2.0.33.
Can you post where I can obtain these programs, so I can reproduce the
behavior myself and fix it?
