* tar, taper, PERFBACK refuse to work (taper fails with alert (?), PERFBACK (commercial) does nothing).

* Reading zips with a parellel zip-drive fails
*gets stuck when reading partition table
*at boot time
*when you have no zip in the drive it gets stuck when you try a fdisk -l
(the kernel claims that the ppa modul (tried both kernel and modules)
is "unused" (while fdisk hangs) rmmod causes an oops)
Same small :) Config bugs in config i've found
* when you compile parport as module , ppa is not automagically configured as module (but it has to))
* in Amateur Radio support when you compile the hfmodem support for soundblaster (shortwave)
then the module needs the support for misc user modules in menu Character devices
