Could someone please point me to a source that summarizes the updates to
the kernel releases starting with 2.0.0? (i.e. readme's about the
release/kernel patches and what they fix/cure/extend....)
What is the latest stable kernel?
I am particularly interested in this information for the following
specific reasons:
I use a matrox millenium and want to know if the xfree86 Xwindows
implementation is stable with with card (begining with what
version/distribution) Actually this is probably not a kernel issue...more
of a release issue with xfree86....
I use an Adaptec 2940 UltraW SCSI controller and want to know what the
"best"/most stable version is for that card.
I currently run RH 4.0 (Colgate), got a (old) unsubstantiated "patch"
that was promoted as: "should work-but not tried" and on my installation,
it did seem to work (i did boot...)
