kernel message in [2.1.65]

Could you please say what the following message means :

Mar 8 11:06:50 phoenix kernel: synq tail drop with expire=230

I got about 100 such lines, one by one, in /var/log/messages.
expire value floated from 230 to 250 approximately. System is still
working perfectly. Kernel version is 2.1.65.
