That was an oversight on my part. Change the code at 7527 from:
if ( PCI_SLOT(temp_p->pci_device_fn) ==
PCI_SLOT(current_p->pci_device_fn) )
if ( (current_p) &&
(PCI_SLOT(temp_p->pci_device_fn) ==
PCI_SLOT(current_p->pci_device_fn)) )

and that should solve the problem (updated in my sources now).
