One word "evstack". That and NIH are its big problems. fbcon works - it took
me half a day to do the Mac68k console, and X simply worked on it from day 1
GGI has some good ideas for kernel acceleration API's and loadable card
handlers (needed for the PC), the rest it appears already exists
