Kernel 2.1.87: hang using a Mesa demo...

I tried using the demo isosurf that comes with Mesa lib (XFree 3.3.1,
RH5.0, Gcc 2.8)
No problem under 2.1.86 , under 2.1.87 the demo is corrupted and trying
to resize
the window hangs x. (i can reboot through magic-sysrq keys, however).
On the other hand, sound seems not to have problems, as i played mp3s
for an hour
without problems ( i have a sb32 ).
