Data corruption with loop device under pre-2.0.34-2

Hi,

we experienced data corruption when mounting a loop filesystem. Mounting a
bootdisk fails and the kernel just says:

Feb 17 14:20:09 Mandelbrot kernel: MINIX-fs: root directory is not a directory

If I simply reboot the machine, everything is ok and I'm able to loopmount
the image. So the image is not really corrupted but the kernel thinks so.

We did get this error on two different machines until now. Both are
running pre-2.0.34-2 and have been rock solid for months otherwise.

I'll try to find a way to reliably reproduce the error...

Hubert
