But that motherboard has not a VP_IDE chipset (as reported by 2.1.86 ide
drivers). I installed 2.0.33 on the machine with the VP_IDE chipset and
AWE32 returned to work fine. Seems a bug in the IDE drivers for the VP
chipset.
