Thanks for the tip! I'd still call them "less than 100% OK".

I don't think it's reasonable to blame the drive manufcturer when an OEM asks
for a particular nonstandard configuration and an end user happens to move that
drive to another application. If IBM were shipping their "normal" drives this
was I'd complain, but you should really blame Apple or Sun, *not* IBM.
