I am not on this list but I wonder if anyone cud please explain
the following.
If I pull out the ethernet cable and then reconnect it, the write
end of a scoket will continue writing till retransmission timeout occurs.
Howvere if I try this with a wavelan, the write end does not
write(nor does it come out with an error)
I can telnet, ftp etc. before and after in both cases.
Then why does the write "fail" in the 2nd case or does it?
Is this b'cuz of CDMa/Ca technology?
Thanx in advance.
