While someone is working on the config stuff, is it not time to
clean the whole concept of 'either it is a module or a static'?
I would like to build a kernel with selected static modules, but
I still want everything as a module. This allows me to build all
the modules once, then build customised kernels as necessary. AT
the moment, if a module is static then a loadable module is not
built.
So we need to allow 'n' (no) 'y' (static) 'm' (loadable) 'b'
(both). And the build process will have to be adjusted to not
confuse the compilation, probably build into a private directory
rather than with the sources.
