Linus, please do not add this "not obviously correct" patch into the
2.1.X tree. I'm all for CONFIG_SMP but not this patch.
(1) No testing -- I'm tired of so much untested code in the kernel.
(2) It's broken -- it doesn't patch any of the files in include/
and misses some other files too.
