Re: K6 probs... :( (+TX mobo fix success!)

I think I've found the problem -- my mobo
supports Intel MMX chips, but the manual
doesn't actually mention the K6 which, I
think, it predates.

The BIOS, however, can correctly identify
the CPU, so everything thinks it's OK. I
will swap mobos for a TX which definitely
copes with the K6 and see what happens...

As an aside, the reason that I can now use
this TX board is Alessandro Staltari's fix
which forces the keyboard the be initialised
at boot time, and fixes the reboot thing.

Perhaps there should be a "force keyboard
initialisation" config option?
