Uh, no. linux-gcc (a misnomer, as linux-gcc-specific discussion was
rather scarce virtually since inception) was first used to discuss HJ's
"proprietary" libc.

Traffic on this list dried up once glibc became available. As the -gcc
bit doesn't really apply to the subject matter, perhaps creation of -glibc
and euthanization of -gcc is in order ...
