RPC errors on boot (2.1.xx)

Since switching to the 2.1 series (I'm not sure exactly where this started)
I've been getting RPC errors during the boot sequence. Can anybody
enlighten me on what is causing this? I don't get any after this point so
it may be nothing to worry about. It appears to be related to NFS (which
works OK anyway) and lockd. I do NOT have CONFIG_NFSD but am using the
user space nfsd nfs-server-2.2beta27.
