One of our machines died with the same kernel panic as I previously
reported, with the message:
Kernel panic: skput: over: 20826704:1214
In swapper task - not syncing
I tried to follow the suggestion here about looking up the first number
in the System.map, but there is not a number even close to the one in
the panic message. The machine is configured as follows:
Dual Pentium Pro 200MHz
512M RAM
Buglogic 958 UW SCSI Controller
3COM 509 Ethernet Card
3COM 905 Boomerang Ethernet Card
8 SEAGATE 4 Gig SCSI Drives
We are using the md code to combine two of the disks into a single
filesystem (/dev/md0) and 5 of the disks into a single filesystem
(/dev/md1).
md is a module as is the Boomerang driver. The kernel is built with
SMP defined.
Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
