1) It seems unwilling or unable to detect/use my ECP/EPP parallel port.
This is on a Tyan Titan Pro Dual Mobo (just one CPU, though) and an SMC
FDC37C665IR whiz-bang-do-everything chip, which according to TYAN supports
EPP, ECP, PS/2, etc. The Bios is set to ECP+EPP mode, though I have tried
it in EPP and PS/2 modes. I have tried passing IRQ and DMA info on the
insmod line, building everything into the kernel, building some things into
the kernel (which can produce some weird results--eg, if parport_probe is
compiled as a module but PPA and LP are modules)
Also, I seem to get a lot of modules marked as "uninitialized." I have been
able to get PPA to work for my zip drive, but lp doesn't seem to work right.
