With 2.1.59, I originally reported this as a packet loss problem with UDP.
It now seems, after closer examination, that this is some sort of buffer
problem. In rat statistics, the ``jitter'' climbs during a loss of audio.
I am more enclined to think this is some sort of memory management thing,
or some internal latency in the kernel. Reply if you want a small 73K
audio sample of the problem.
