CVS question

Hi everyone!
I know David's on vacation, but I'm wondering what the chain of events
is regarding the CVS repository. Do things go in there, and the moved out
to the 2.1.*** patches?
Oh yeah, I've got a 2940 on my machine at home, and just got to 2.1.57.
There's a new message popping up on boot mentioning that I have
auto-termination enabled and that I might want to change that to manual.
I'm wondering is auto termination a Bad Thing? It was the only way I
could get the system to work with the (now removed) internal scsi drive I
used to have. The sucker wouldn't terminate with or without the resistor
packs. That auto terminate saved me from having to buy an enclosure.
