Hi,
my man page stat(2) with debian 1.3.1
(it is a bit old Linux 1.1.75) says:

Not all of the Linux filesystems implement all of the time
fields. Traditionally, st_atime is changed by mknod(2),
utime(2), read(2), write(2), and truncate(2).

If this is true, then "ls -lR do not must change the atime field
(I understand that for the manpage)

Is my interpretation (and the manpage )correct ?

Thanks in advance, Juan.
