A bzImage is like a zImage, but it's fixed so to remove some problems
emposed by the ix86 architecture, namely allowing the uncompressed kernel
to be bigger than 640k (that's not allowed for a zImage).

Yes, on ix86 it's gzip'd and a bootsector, loader and decompression code
stuffed on the front. Other architectures it's just loaded into memory
and booted (well it can be loaded gzip'd if the loader is cooperative.
CRCs are nice, CRCs are good, especally when you just tftp'd that kernel;).
